Building Together,
Growing Stronger
One shared vision for a permanent Nepali home in Greater Sydney.
Following our First Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15th February, we are pleased to share a full progress update. As a Life Member, you are at the heart of this vision — and we are committed to keeping you regularly informed.
Phase 1: Foundation Complete
Over the past 18 months, the Ad-Hoc Committee established GSNMC on a solid professional and legal foundation:
The Power of 1,000
GSNMC has officially surpassed 1,000 Life Members — a powerful testament to the unity and spirit of the Nepali diaspora in Greater Sydney.
The Road to 5,000
Our ultimate goal is purchasing land for our Nepali Multicultural Centre. To make this real, we need to reach 5,000 Life Members.
How we'll get there:
Community Consultation Meeting
On 21st March 2026, GSNMC hosted a Consultation Meeting with CBOs to refine our "Target 5001" roadmap and shape our path toward a fully realised "Mini Nepal" hub in Sydney.
Searching for Our Future Home
Our dedicated Land Research Committee has been actively working to identify a suitable property that is truly fit for purpose. The committee has been visiting and evaluating available properties across Greater Sydney to find an option that best aligns with GSNMC's vision and the needs of our community.
We will continue exploring available properties in the coming days to identify options that best align with GSNMC's purpose. We look forward to sharing further updates as our search progresses.

You Can Make a Difference
As a Life Member, simply share our vision with two friends or neighbours this week. If every member brings one more person, we'll reach our goal together.
"Together, we aren't just buying land — we are building a legacy for our children and a hub for Nepali culture in Australia."
