The Sydney Nepalese Multicultural Centre (SNMC) held its inaugural community consultation on July 2, 2023, bringing together community leaders from various organizations, journalists, entrepreneurs, and other prominent members of the community. During the consultation, two models for the community center were presented: a commercial model and a not-for-profit model. After thoughtful deliberation, the consensus was to adopt the not-for-profit model, aligning with the community’s values and vision for the future.
